Initial brainstorming session with senior management, marketing, sales, design, and engineering to determine customer needs and opportunities. Product concepts are generated, and all departments go out to do their initial research.
Engineering has initial drawings and questions. There is a round table discussion to review needed features and potential benefits. Market analysis and competitive pricing are presented and the project viability is determined.
Initial prototypes are reviewed. Improvements are discussed, plans are determined for resolving any issues. The marketing strategy is refined and an action plan is put into place for delivery. Engineering goes to make final changes, and marketing arranges drawings, modeling, and collateral requirements. Sales starts talking up the new products. Final prototypes are reviewed and tested. Product launch date is finalized.
Products are ready for sale! E-commerce is pitching and placing onto dealer websites. Sales and design are incorporating into their presentations and layouts. Press Release, Direct Mail, Email campaign, are launched.

Leah has worked for Marvel for 10 years taking on increasingly more responsibility each year. She has developed our product and sales direction for the past couple of years, leading our new product direction.
